The bathrooms were quite a walk from the site we were at, which with kids was kind of difficult. Also the parking spot for the spot we had was a walk and you had to go through other people's campsites to get there.

Mary our campground host was a great deal of help. Thank you! And very nice campsites especially the ones closest to the river

The host was excellent. Unfortunately, the camp ground is right next to busy highway. During the day, the traffic sound is not that bad. But at night, it will keep you awake. (Sound and headlights). There is only one water and it is the other side of the camp. The water taste not that great - considering it’s tahoe, best water… - because it was treated heavily. If you are to reserve this camp, choose close to #3.

I love this campground because of its proximity to the truckee river. I stay in the “walk to” campsites along the river which are further from the bathroom and water spigot. No showers or flush toilets but still one of my favorite campgrounds.

Excellent host, clean bathrooms.
I am so glad the USFS is now managing the facilities rather than a concessionaire.
Very dusty at site.

Nice location along the Truckee River. There is a little road noise but also nice to be relatively close to Truckee for shopping, etc.
