This campsite is well maintained and the campsite hist makes sure to check that each person that arrives has a reservation. There are bear-proof storage boxes with lots of room for overnight food storage. The pit toilets don’t smell too bad. Only downside is that the campsite is near the road, which has traffic all through the night and it’s quite loud.

Close Truckee and Tahoe. Brought tubes to play in river & bikes and paddles boards for playing in Tahoe & Truckee.

Great time at Silver creek!
Lots of shade and dipping in the trukee made for a very comfortable time. There’s only one water faucet for drinking but we didn’t care for the way it tasted. So I recommend bringing h2o.

The only thing that would make this place better is RV / trailer sites down by the river so you hear the river instead of the highway.

Was not able to access the site at Silver Creek Campground due to limited space.

Good time except extreme rudeness from camp host toward a family that had reserved their site, and rudeness from neighbor camper. See next page.

Campground is nice and tidy! Camp hosts were so nice! Each campsite is very large and comes with the basic amenities. It was nice to sleep to the sound of the creek/river and then enjoy it during the day time. Only small downside was the close proximity to the highway, the cars coming through can be loud sometimes, but as long as you're not there during a holiday or busy weekend, it's not too bad. Overall 10/10 experience.
