Everything was excellent except this campsite was too close to the bathroom and it smells bad. Otherwise I recommend the campsite.

Lots of mosquitoes spaces are hard to get into, you’ll have to go the opposite way of the signs to back in a trailer. There isn’t a direct marked path to the river but you can find some very nice secluded spots which are great for fishing during the early morning or late afternoon.

What an amazing time, observing the night sky while waiting for the full moon to appear, the crystal water of the river and the beautiful sound make this trip a memorable experience.

The campsite is right on the road.. route 89 is very close and very loud... hard to feel like you are enjoying nature

Beautiful spot a stone’s throw from the river; weather was perfect at mid 40s in the morning and mid 80s in the afternoon. Wonderful outdoor experience!

Nice campground, highway noise wasn't noticeable though we were car-camping.
Very convenient location, close to Tahoe City and Truckee. 7-11 about 5 minutes away which is 24/7
Spotty cell phone service on T-Mobile, slightly better but still spotty on AT&T.

Overall, a great campground. If you're looking for solitude, get one of the sites away from the river, though. Otherwise, you have the river floaters trapsing through your campsite when they exit. I'd probably camp here again but on a non-holiday weekend.
