We enjoyed the pull thru (not back in) site, clean bathroom, a short hike, lots of wild flowers.

Quieter and less crowded part of Joshua Tree, beautiful landscapes and amazing star gazing opportunities! Spaces between sites are roomy and campers can access the trailhead to Mastodon Peak trail within the campgrounds.

A little bit more noise compared to my stay at Ryan Campground due to more campsites. It's also a little bit further from a lot of the hikes at the park compared to other campground locations

Nice campground, sites small and not very level. Bathrooms were clean. Great access to nice trails.

We had a very nice time camping here. Really good choice for families or people that need a little bit of comfort when camping (there is running water and toilets on site). This is a dark park, so be mindful not to have a lot of lights, when possible use red light or cover your light with something to dampen it (bring a telescope if you have access to one!) The hiking loop that is next to the campground was nice, park rangers were super friendly too.

You need to make some spaces first come first served. Install an iron ranger if need be or the satellite kiosks as used in DVNP.

Everything was perfect! The site accommodated my van and there was plenty of room in the site to setup our supplies and enjoy the beautiful weather and evening sky!
The best part was the Camp host, Don and his wife Vanda. They were super informative, unbelievably helpful and they went out of their way to help us!
