What Guests Are Saying
Jumbo Rocks Campground offers a clean and well-maintained environment with stunning views, quiet nights, and easy access to hiking trails and climbing opportunities. Many campsites provide a sense of privacy and seclusion, especially if chosen wisely, while facilities like clean restrooms enhance the camping experience. However, some sites are closely situated, which can lead to noise and foot traffic from neighbors, and the presence of bees may be bothersome for some visitors.

This was tough to rate. Scenery and geology: 5. Privacy and peacefulness: 2. Insects: 1. Stunning campground but the spaces are close together and there were a lot of big and loud RVs. My site specifically, itβs gorgeous but Iβd only recommend it for tent camping as itβs right on a choke point of the main road. Iβd also say only choose this one if your group has site 88, too. Lastlyβ¦ the bees. Oof. Iβm not afraid of bees and no one got stung but they are FOR REAL.

Great spot. Some traffic at dusk as it's right off the main road, but loved the privacy and space. Perfect for a Sprinter Van 144.

For site 101, the comments about βno level spaceβ is nearly accurate, but for a single person a level spot can be worked out with effort. Site 100 has level areas to spare but it is right on the campground road. Great place to photograph E or W sky. If you find my camera accessories, let me know, lol.

What a great location and National Park. Pit toilets were oddly clean and well supplied. Sites are well sized with easy access to trails and nearby boulders. Proximity to the amazing Skull Rock was a highlight.

Very good experience only because our area was mostly empty. Other parts of the campground looked rather full. Strange reservation system.

Great place! Very few people. We saw sunset and sunrise from the site, and the stars too. ππ»

Jumbo Rocks is a great place to stay if you want to do some light hiking from the campsite. The starry night are incredible, specially in the Summer. Unfortunately, there was some pretty obscene graphite that was sprayed very recently, right on the boulders. It's crazy to think how people can be so disrespectful of nature and others peace of mind. I hope it gets cleared out soon #79.
