What Guests Are Saying
Jumbo Rocks Campground offers a clean and well-maintained environment with stunning views, quiet nights, and easy access to hiking trails and climbing opportunities. Many campsites provide a sense of privacy and seclusion, especially if chosen wisely, while facilities like clean restrooms enhance the camping experience. However, some sites are closely situated, which can lead to noise and foot traffic from neighbors, and the presence of bees may be bothersome for some visitors.

Lots of coyotes! But I was the only person in the campground and I’m sure they wouldn’t come around much when a bunch of people are camping. Lol

This is a good spot to view the stars. Unfortunately the site was downwind from the bathroom and the smell was a little strong. I used this exact site the previous year, but didn't have any problem.

I liked it because the bathroom was clean and the space was unique. I recommend you to see the sunset from Kiss View!

Amazing landscape, wonderful spot for tenting - starry night, high moon and coyote howling. It was a real adventure. Kids loved it.

Space was pretty clean and great views. Spot was very close to Skull Rock Trail. The only thing that people should know is that you might hear coyotes at night. I would recommend this spot again!

I was skeptical about the presence of Jumbo Rocks at the campground as I was driving in but was delightfully impressed! I love how the campsites have been built into the rock formations to give each site a level of natural privacy. Sites were clean and exactly as described. Other guests were quiet and polite. Next time I’ll come when it’s a bit cooler but otherwise I really enjoyed it.

Campground was great and the site had some shade from a nearby bush in the evening (if you want more shade go on the other side of the road). Unfortunately the site next to us was very load and disruptive keeping us up all night
