What Guests Are Saying
Jumbo Rocks Campground offers a clean and well-maintained environment with stunning views, quiet nights, and easy access to hiking trails and climbing opportunities. Many campsites provide a sense of privacy and seclusion, especially if chosen wisely, while facilities like clean restrooms enhance the camping experience. However, some sites are closely situated, which can lead to noise and foot traffic from neighbors, and the presence of bees may be bothersome for some visitors.

The best part is that you are in the park. It is not recommended for bigger RV’s for good reason. It is dry camping, so make sure you have everything you need, and you will have a great time.

We were not able to back into our site and having our vehicle close to the table. Otherwise, the site was great!

I booked the first day reservations opened for the dates I wanted, so I could have booked something better, but I couldn’t tell from, the photos, so I ended up with a campsite that was squished in between two others. Luckily no one showed up for those campsites, but I had no idea they wouldn’t because both sites had a reserved sign on them. When I say squished, I mean my picnic table was less than 20 feet from the one in the next camp site. Other sites were far more private. Also there was very little shade in my campsite and so it was either miserably hot or ridiculously windy. I was only tent camping without many amenities, so it could have been better if I had more, but the point is, there were better sites and I just couldn’t tell from the photos online so be careful as to what you choose if you’ve never been there before.

Beautiful campground. Campsite was clean and well maintained. The only downside was the lack of a running water and because there are only pit toilets at this campground, people can be pretty careless with keeping the restrooms clean, nothing major but something to consider. You may want to bring a few cleaning supplies to clean the toilet before using.

Great spot, campsite was isolated from other sites so we had lots of privacy, bathrooms were clean and not too stinky!

Our camp site was AWESOME. Only thing is we arrived when it was dark and didn’t realize we had to walk a little bit from the marked parking spot to our actual campsite, so be aware of this if you arrive late and can’t see the layout. Picnic tables have the campsite number on them which is helpful. This site was nicely tucked in, good privacy even if between other sites. I’d highly recommend it!

Beautiful campground between boulders and trees.
Site n. 117 not to much shade, no barbecue but close to restrooms.
