What Guests Are Saying
Jumbo Rocks Campground offers a clean and well-maintained environment with stunning views, quiet nights, and easy access to hiking trails and climbing opportunities. Many campsites provide a sense of privacy and seclusion, especially if chosen wisely, while facilities like clean restrooms enhance the camping experience. However, some sites are closely situated, which can lead to noise and foot traffic from neighbors, and the presence of bees may be bothersome for some visitors.

We had a magical time once again in Joshua Tree. Sure it was a bit windy, but you know the adage... No such thing as bad weather, just bad gear. It was spring time so what do you expect. Days were warm, nights were cool and the fire was perfect.
Bathrooms were impeccably clean sanitation was on point! Site 15 is a gem and will be back again. Jumbo Rocks has been a favorite for years!

Very nice campsite which would easily accomodate 3 tents in a nice setting with many rock formations. Close to the bathroom which was kept clean & well-stocked with toilet paper. Only wish it had a canopy over the table to block the sun.

Jumbo Rocks was an awesome camping site! We spent a day touring the rest of the park, stopping and taking quick one mile hikes that were well marked with signage. Restroom (no showers) was always clean and well stocked. Can't recommend it enough!

No water at Campgrounds but knowing that going in it's an amazing site. Right next to some rocks that you can climb with a nice little tree to shade during the day. Most sites are great but this was one of the best ones.

The sites are close together but 56 was tucked back just a little bit and opened to the space beyond. There were huge rocks to explore and a really cool chasm to walk through. We had a great time.

Good. Not great though. Restroom is right there and smells wretched. Pretty campgrounds but sites are terribly cramped together.

Nice campsite! Loved the nearby rocks to climb and scramble on. Just wish there was a little more privacy from other campers.
