What Guests Are Saying
Jumbo Rocks Campground offers a clean and well-maintained environment with stunning views, quiet nights, and easy access to hiking trails and climbing opportunities. Many campsites provide a sense of privacy and seclusion, especially if chosen wisely, while facilities like clean restrooms enhance the camping experience. However, some sites are closely situated, which can lead to noise and foot traffic from neighbors, and the presence of bees may be bothersome for some visitors.

Great site and campground. Highly recommend! Just make sure the forecast isn't too hot (or too cold at night) or windy and you should be fine. Great hiking trail nearby and lots of rocks to scramble all around the campground.

Our entire family (6 adults & 3 kids) had a great Easter weekend at Joshua Tree NP. Friday was windy but calmed Sat & Sun. Weather was perfect. Campsite 92 is a bit small for our 20ft travel trailer & truck. Definitely a better site for campervan or smaller motorhome. The kids had a great time scrambling on the rocks. The Skull Rock trail is great for all ages but can be crowded on the weekends. Arch Rock/Heart Rock hike was another easy, enjoyable hike for everyone.

We love Jumbo Rocks simply because of the built-in bouldering right in your "backyard."

Excellent spot, with at least 2 big areas to set up tents. Includes a picnic table, fire pit, and grill. Jumbo Rocks does have a lot of people not this spot isn’t on top of neighbors. However it is very close to the bathroom, and the neighboring spot will walk through the site to get to the bathroom.
