Pictures were deceiving. Elevation of pad looked to be maybe 10' above the water. More like 40'. I have issues walking so was an issue for me. Otherwise it was a very nice park. Clean and well maintained.

Beautiful location on New Hogan Lake, next time I’ll bring my kayak. Great birdwatching. Clean facilities.

Nice spot, especially for winter camping, but even going midweek to an almost empty campground, noise is a problem—generators and vehicles with their motors running. A great spot for family fun but not so much for solo tent campers like me. Also, I wish the walking trails were better marked.

Campground was not clean, trees were not trimmed, it could easily scratch my boat and camping trailer. Bathroom was not cleaned either. Needs to be clean at least 3 times a day. Shower is also horrible. Water was ice cold. No option of turning up the heat for the water. Kids cannot shower with such cold water. Shower tiles was also broken and dangerous. Needs to be fixed. We paid our hard earned money for the campsite so we deserve to expect the best from the campground. With the restroom and shower being that bad, makes it hard for us to ever want to come back.

We went there for a 2 nights stay in an RV motor home.
The booking site showed dump station available on site, but upon arrival we realized there was none. We had to cut short our trip to half, and also travel extra 30 miles to dump the waste plus pay for dumping.

Campsites are beautiful. This is the off season there so not many people. Would have been prefect except one guy ran his generator 24/7 the whole weekend.

Went there with a large group for Thanksgiving. The sites were clean as usual and even though there were lots of people there, we had no issues at all. The one bad thing was all the dump stations were closed. No where near to go dump either. The rangers gave us different timelines for them to be open, but they didn't. And we went through yesterday and they are still closed so if you're going camping there and need a dump station, i'd call first. The park is full of deer which is nice if you like to see wildlife.
