Was thrilled to see the weeds around the sites had been eradicated. Sites had been cleaned and were ready for occupancy. The water was very high, it was a beautiful site, after the last few years.

Acorn campground has many nice lakeside campsites. This was particularly enjoyable because the lake was very full. We go in early Spring when the campground and lake is relatively quiet thus good for kayaks. Staff was very friendly!

A wonderful campground next to a lake (this year.. last year the lake was down >100'). April was a bit cold for us to enjoy the lake, but we'll be back w/ a kayak and swimming suits. Only downside was the noisy jetskis.

Very nice view. Friendly park rangers. Nice hikes even if you don't have a boat. Ample space at the campsite. Unexpectedly dusty but that's okay we'll just wash our car afterwards.

Lake is full and the grass is green. Stayed four nights mid week with an almost empty campground. Perfect. Valley Springs is 10 minutes away with all services, including a great Chinese restaurant.

Very green this time of year , plenty of water in the the lake. It was enjoyable to camp but a little chilly at night 42 degrees. I wish more of the parking pads were level. Lot's of geese. Will bring bicycles next time.
