No green grass like the pictures but very nice still.
Site was very small and on a hill.

Great time during our stay. Only comment would be the showers need to be cleaned daily and more toliet paper needed throughout the day/evening.

The park was in the worst shape that I’ve seen in 20 years , the bathrooms were filthy, no park attendants trash everywhere, the self check in sucks, someone was in my camp site , Nobody new what was going on. Bring back the main gate attendant, please

I am heartbroken reporting this about a lake I love and hold dear to my heart. Bathrooms were disgusting and dirty with urine and feces. Drove to multiple restrooms within the Acorn Campground. Toilets had feces and urine on the floor. Bathrooms were covered in spiders in all stalls and showers. Sinks were layered with dirt. Park rangers appeared only to keep toilets well stocked with toilet paper while making AM & PM rounds; Which in years past campers would have to bring their own toilet paper by late afternoon. Bathrooms have been in decline for the past 3-4 years. (Except during the 2020 covid shut down only 2 Marina bathrooms were open, while campgrounds were closed). In the past, ACOE contracted janitorial services in which bathrooms were hosed/sprayed down each morning, including disinfected & scrubbed toilets, clean sinks, showers and floors.

Nice place lots of deer and will raid your food if you leave it out. Shower was kinda messed up, other than that nice place.

Half the showers were broken and water was too hot in the one I used. Bathrooms often out of toilet paper and same glob of toothpaste was in the sink for more than a week. A lot of deferred maintenance.

Nice campground overall but definitely could use upgrading. Sites are small, not level and not made for trailers or RVs. Water and restrooms are too far apart and boat launch at campground was closed
