The site we reserved for our 23’ motor home was so far off level we could not stay there. The sites are close together, our neighbor’s second tent actually was on our tent pad right behind our fire pit. Overall this is not up to the standard one would expect from a national park campground. We ended staying outside the park disbursed camping on a forest service road out of necessity, will scratch this campground off our list for the future and hope the park can someday redesign and restore it to be worthy of its great location.

Great location, right next to the park entrance. Bathroom is up a slight hill so be prepared but it was always relatively clean and well stocked. A great experience overall!

Yosemite is great, but this campground isn't. Many, if not most, of the campsites are on hillsides with a noticeable slant. Tough to find a place to lay down without sliding downhill. There are only two restroom buildings for the entire campground, which means a long walk to the toilet. Moreover, unlike most campgrounds, there are no water spigots scattered through the campground. The only places to get water are at the two restroom buildings. There's a small "closet" that has what looks like a giant sink; that's where you can fill up your water jugs. To make things MORE difficult, those water faucets are very close to the wall, which makes filling the jugs an effort - you have to hold the jug up close to the faucet, no matter how heavy it's getting.
I won't be looking to stay here again.

literally ten feet from the parking spot. Other hike in sites walk through your spot but it’s okay because it’s just one person. Facilities mid. No service. Great location for hetch hetchy and nice drive to valley

Hodgdon Meadow Campground was good, not excellent, but with minimal options I booked it and it worked out. The positive is that the location is inside Yosemite Park, but barely. It's the first campsite once you pay to enter the park from Highway 120. Campsites are close together and it takes around 45 minutes to reach Yosemite Valley. Bathrooms are average, no showers. With all that said, it's a heavenly place!

The campsite is located within the Yosemite border but a 30 minute drive into the park to be able to do everything. Bear boxes are provided that can fit up to 2 big coolers and other little items. Most of the campsites are on a hill. Bathrooms are clean, but be prepared to bring your own soap( because of the bears)

Campground was okay. Bathrooms were clean and neighbors were considerate. Our campsite was not great. Most of the campsite was at a steep angle. The only flat spot was right next to the neighboring campsite. They also had only one flat spot so we could hear them talking and even snoring.
