Campsites and patrons were all very nice and respectful of quite time. Camp hosts were very nice and Rangers very attentive to all the campsites and their needs. Restrooms could have used a little more attention.

Great, flat (even ground) campsite inside of the park. Parking is close to hike-in sites. Short distance to clean facilities. Would stay again!

No shower and no water by the campsites. Water only at toilets, hard to do dishes. Neighbor campsites are really close.

Large camp sites, kind camp hosts, clean bathrooms (for a campground). Overall great experience.

Not what I was expecting and not high up on my list of campsites to pick, but it was cozy and the neighbors were great. Beautiful, had a walk in campsite and it was super short as well as a bathroom close by. Only downside is it's kind of far from the main valley/some hikes we did. Close to rainbow pools and hetch hetchy which was nice :)

The camp ground hosts and rangers were amazing. They were friendly and knowledgable. The camp site was great
The drive to yosemite valley is a bit long, but you get to enjoy amazing views.

Best rangers ever these young women at Hodgedon. Friendly happy kind. Better than any others on park. I give meanest ranger award to Yellowstone, lol

This is a great campsite within a good distance of the valley. I appreciate that each night people respected quiet hours at 10pm. The rangers were very attentive to food storage and bear safety. The campsites are unique in that some you can park at and some have general parking. Nothing is ever too far from your car.

Beautiful Campground, but Tough Logistics
Yosemite is pure heaven and this campground is clean, well-maintained, and run by wonderful managers with a great community vibe. However, the setup can be challenging. Having no showers and being forced to park away from the campsite was a HUGE inconvenience—we had to haul all of our gear back and forth through other people's campsites because there is no direct trail. The 45-minute distance from the valley was also a bit annoying. We made it a great experience anyway, but the packing and unpacking layout is definitely a downside

We were given a RV site for our camper van and it was incredibly slanted beyond adjustability. We ended up having sleep while sliding off the bed. Additionally it was beside the dumpster which was insanely loud while trying to sleep.
