Although it is far from the Yosemite valley (where there is a lot of things to see), I found the campground very pleasant, the 2 rangers were friendly and helpful.

Staff was nice but water for rv was next to impossible. I spicket in a outbuilding closet with blocked off access with road cones to get close???

Very nice campground, bathrooms need to be updated. Easy drive to Hetch Hetchy reservoir, Tuolumne Meadows or a day in the Yosemite Valley.

Be prepared for driving mountain roads with long incline and decents. Pulling a trailer ( even a small trailer , mine is 18 ft) over these to see the sights is not recommended!! Leave the trailer at the campground. Route 140 has the least amount of grade changes.

This was our second time ever staying here, once in a camper van, this time in a tent, and both times have been great. Sites have been a bit slanted in both cases, but have otherwise been good. Bathrooms are readily available and clean, camp hosts have been kind and helpful.

overcrowded, poor sites too close together, 1 crowded bathroom with 1 stall. no individual water spigots, water tasted terrible

Steve was a great camp host! We stayed in spot 59. It had a slight decline but was good for our rooftop tent. Spot was next to the dumpster and not far from the bathroom. The spots are close together, but we had decent neighbors. Would Definitely camp here again.

This campground is hilly, so a smaller tent is recommended. It was a nice place to stay on our way to Tuolumne Meadows.

Stayed for 5 nights with my partner and our toddler. A lot of sites at this CG are not level, some barely usable (not enough flat space for the table AND a tent). We got lucky and were able to get by with a 5% tilt from head to toe…toddler would slide from top to bottom during the night. Picnic table was leveled with scrap 2x4s brought from home.
Many sites are cramped and at full capacity, you get to know your neighbors VERY well. Camp hosts were active and enforced quiet hours and generator use. Again we got lucky and only ~2 of the 5 sites around us were occupied most nights.
Good hammocking trees and lots of fallen trees to climb and explore, both shade and sun at most sites throughout the day.
I would stay here again but not in the same group of sites.

The park rangers were wonderful - informative, helpful, and polite. The campground was clean and organized.
