Our site was not flat at all, so there wasn’t anywhere good to put our tent. The campground seemed a bit tight with the sites really close together.

Pros: You are in the park, friendly park service staff, you are close to so much beauty and nature. You are 45 min from Yosemite Valley. We stayed in Site 52 and it had 2 tent spots that were mostly flat.
Cons: You camp very close to others (think: hear your neighbor snoring so bring ear plugs), it's dusty, parking is tight, you don't get a spot necessarily right next to your camp spot (think. parking areas not spots), no showers. You are about 45 min away from Yosemite Valley but it really doesn't matter that much because the drive is so dang beautiful! Some of the campsites were sloped.

First time in Yosemite and appreciated the peacefulness of this campground and the location amid the forest. Campsite 10 was nice and spacious and a bit flatter than some of the others; we set up two tents. Firepit and table were on a bit of a slope, but we managed. Can park car pretty close; not that big of a deal to unload and load. Bathrooms were clean and it was nice to have plenty of drinking water. Rangers were very helpful.

This campground was the perfect place to stop for the night since we came into the park at night from SF. Even with the shutdown, the campground was extremely well managed. Bathrooms were impeccably clean, campsites were free of garbage and rangers were still there ensuring campers were putting their fires all the way out and food wasn't left out. Overall, I was very impressed with how well the campground was still being managed and we had a great first night in the park here.

Nice place, we had a great time over here, maps says it takes 45 min to get to curry village but it felt like 20 min ride because of the views thru the ride
People were great

Camp Host off duty when arrived at 5pm. What is the us of having a camp host if he is off duty after the ranger leaves for the day. He was no help help on changing site. Number 17 sloped realy bad, the camp was very little use and many level sites were not used. Many sites need to be leveled . Will not ever stay here again.

Bad experience. The camp site was full and most were playing loud music until 2am. Smoke was so bad as everyone had to have a fire. This is why I try and avoid front country sites…

Much quietier than down in the Valley. Did not feel touristy, 45 minutes from the valley, 45 minutes from Glacier Point, 15 minutes to Tuolumne grove and the beginning of the Tioga Road. Easy and beautiful drives. There is a bathhouse with flush toilets, a hand sink, and a place to get potable water for cooking and drinking. Nothing luxurious but adequate. Our host was very nice. I enjoyed meeting him, an older gentileman, sorry I did not get his name.
