What Guests Are Saying
Hodgdon Meadow Campground is a clean, well-maintained facility with friendly staff and a peaceful atmosphere, making it an excellent base for exploring Yosemite. Many campers appreciated the beautiful natural surroundings and the cleanliness of the restrooms. However, some sites are sloped and close together, which might impact comfort and privacy for certain visitors. Overall, it’s a highly recommended spot for campers looking to enjoy the beauty of Yosemite.

Very nice staff. They were able to find us a place to sleep for three nights, even though we were supposed to move to another place after the first night according to the reservation.

Campsite A was great it had everything from space, secluded from all other campsites, right next to the Amptheater, bathrooms near, 5 plus table , 5 Bear boxes, flat areas, 3 fire rings, sky view, great temperature for October. slightly far from the rest of Yosemite, near by waterfall 5 min car ride north, outside park. no cell phone service only once you get to some other campsites or on main road.

Campground is very near the west entrance to Yosemite but about 45 minutes from the valley. Sites are a little close to each other so privacy might be an issue for some. Quiet time is from 10pm to 7am but campground host came to us at around 6:30pm saying our dogs were barking excessively and also that it's getting late...at 6:30pm! We were camped right next to the restroom so naturally they would bark at people passing by but we're normally in bed by 8pm inside the camper so for him to say that is unreasonable.

We ended up getting 3 nights in North Pines and canceled our reservation. Wish we could have stayed longer.
Please bring back Liqer and Upper River campgrounds. The number people that are trying to make camping reservations has grown exponentially. Surely there is some corporation in the recreation business that would fund the restoration.
These are the peoples' parks, not Yosemite Conservancy's private playground.

Campground sites were very close to each other with little foliage. Location was good for entry point to the park.

Friendly staff. Nice little campground on the way to/from Yosemite North entrance. Overnighted here as I wanted to see Hetch Hetchy, which was right down the road. It's a great place to stay.

Unlevel site (described as “Moderate slope” on RA) Ground was churned up so we moved to another (better) CG down the road.
