The reviews are right, the site is on a steep area (not crazy), and has a little area where is flat, we have an 2 person tent and had no issues to fit in there. It is close to the other campsites so don’t expect privacy, you’ll feel like you’re group camping with strangers. Overall it was a great experience!

Hands down, my favorite campground in Yosemite- campsites are large, the campground is quiet and well maintained, and the location is perfect for people who aren’t into being right in the valley.

Nice location for hiking away from the valley. Like all big campgrounds it can be noisy, but quiets down at night and the stars are amazing. It's great to see families with children enjoying nature

Great campground. The hosts were attentive and visible throughout our stay. No one was loud or obnoxious. The bathrooms were clean and functioning the whole time too, so much better than last year. We like staying here and don’t mind driving around YNP to our favorite spots.

Great campground, very nice and helpful staff. For summer, you are more likely to find a spot here than in the valley.

Rangers at station to chatty. Say what campers need to know, keep the check in and check out line of vehicles moving!

Best campsite outside the valley for being centrally located.

Many sites are on a hill making it difficult to find a level place to cook or set up a tent. Parking pads are small and do not accommodate two vehicles.

Not to mention the Park itself...
