Easy to get in, easy to set up. Very friendly staff. We stayed in a pull through spot with 35 feet of vehicle and had room to spare. We tent camped and most of the spots are not level for a tent. It was manageable and we had a restful night's sleep. Restrooms were clean and easy to get to.

Campsites are too close together. Had to walk through another campsite to get to my own campsite. There was no path to the restroom, we just had to walk through other campsites.

Hodgdon meadow is nice in that it is less packed than Yosemite Valley, but it is still pretty crowded. On a summer weekday, it is not possible to walk to the restrooms without walking through at least one other person's campsite. It was an easy drive into the valley in the morning (we left before 8 and still the parking was getting close to full by the time we had arrived at Yosemite Village.). There is no place in the world as magical as Yosemite in my humble opinion, but the crowds are pretty impressive. On the other hand the tourists are all happy there, which makes the crowds more tolerable.

A little more work could be done to level out campsites for small trailers and vans. Bathroom was difficult to access for a handicapped camper in our group due to the elevation change getting into the bathroom and the small doors. Staff amazing. Campos very informative and friendly.

Rangers are always nice, and every year we enjoy reserving a group site. The only issue this year was that we were very surprised and disappointed that there was no ice in the valley general store or the local gas station close to our campground. We visited both areas a couple of times, and the same response "No Ice"!

Spent 7 days at Hodgdon Meadows, this was our base as we traveled to Tenaya Lake, Tuolumne Meadows, the and the Yosemite Valley. About a 25 minute drive down to the Valley. Campground has running water and flushing toilet’s. Read the notes on every site and determine what suits you best. 10 stars
