HM is always a nice place to camp. Great atmosphere, the meadow is nice to walk through, and the camp hosts are ALWAYS helpful and pleasant

As many others have noted, many of the sites here are not level, both for RV's and tents. Fortunately, we were able to get our RV level with a few chocks and blocks. Restrooms were clean and nearby. Campground hosts were very friendly. This campground is located in a lovely wooded area just inside the Big Oak Flat entrance to the park, about an hour from Yosemite Valley.

the water is only available at the restroom, and you can only fill up a jug. There is no spigot anywhere so you can fill up your water tanks in your RV. This was not explained on the website when the reservation was made.

The camp host was amazing! Helped us change sites when our original site was too uneven. Super helpful and knowledgeable about Yosemite.

the campsite was okay, our site does not have a flat space for tent and it does not describe on the website. its nature, we understand. so it was ok. the restrooms in campsite are somewhat cleaner than outside, but toilet easy clog due to flush power is weak. we can overcome that by press the bottom for longer time.

Campsites are way too close, especially this number because it’s right next to the bathrooms.. looks further on the map. People also just walk through your campsite all night and mornings
