Site 519 was everything we dreamed of! Right in front of the river and good distance from other sites.

North Pines is the best campground, loved being so close to the river and Curry Village.

Great campsite, nice bathrooms (and several throughout the grounds). Bear boxes are huge! We found the shuttle was close and easy to use. The Merced River is right there...great for cooling off on a hot day. We loved our stay!

Perfect campsite for our 22’ Airstream Caravel. Short distance from the river for tubing

We had a great time even though it was really hot.

The hikers camp exceeded my expectations, even after watching a few YouTubers describe it. The trash and toilets are maintained daily and the friendly rangers stop by in the evening for a safety talk and to answer questions for first timers to the Yosemite wilderness experience.

Backpacker’s camp is not as well signposted or on maps as other locations in the park. Friendly camp Ranger found me wandering and very kindly pointed me the correct direction.
Otherwise camp was great, not too far to walk to shuttles or walkable further to amenities like Curry Village. Toilets and trash bins on site, a hiker box with a small amount inside.

Had a great time camping at North Pines for 3 nights. Shuttle access is nearby and Curry Village is a 10 minute walk away.
People going to the river are mostly respectful, but expect some rude people to walk through your campsite.
