North Pines Campground

Nice facilities. Helpful personnel. Good location. If you can get reservations....I would recommend this campground

My campsite was beautiful and clean. I was surprised at how quiet and respectful other campers were at night. The kiosk attendant was super sweet and helpful!

This site will fit a 35 foot RV without having to back up over the curb. The curb is low and can be backed over. This is a very shaded site which makes it hard to get solar. It is also hard to get Starlink reception. But this is Yosemite Valley and it is where you want to be.

It would be better if you could pull into the site because the table and fire ring are on the other side. When backing in the table is on the drivers side. There is no room to move the table to the passenger side. It would also be difficult to pull into the site because of the one way roads.

Yosemite is a very special place, and has been for me for 62 years. I try to make at least one "pilgrimage" each year. This year's visit was a little more difficult as my wife has Alzheimers and is lacking in mobility. That and the crowds made it pretty impossible to shuttle around that valley to the spots we have in the past. It didn't help that the shuttle stop at the entrance to North Pines was blocked off. Unfortunately I picked the wrong dates to visit. I didn't carefully consult my calendar or I would not have chasen to arrive on a holiday weekend (my mistake). We have a lovely site on the river which was very relaxing. Our neighbors were very nice. I would hope to get up to Tuolumne Meadows later in the year

This was a perfect base camp to explore Yosemite. I highly recommend staying here! The facilities are clean and the camp sites are large.

Was clean and tidy, not very big campsite next to the river. A lot of toilet buildings around with drinking water. Easy access to free water and dump station for our campervan on upper pine campground. The entrance is wrong marked and the drivers accidentally turns into the parallel road just next to the campground. Unfortunately our site 321 was very close to the neighbours (approx 4m), so there was no privacy around.

Campsites are nice, but there is still noise from generators and barking dogs.

North Pines is a beautiful campground. Campgrounds were well maintained and bathrooms clean.

Staff helpful, bathrooms clean, camping neighbors respectful. I like the change of fire regulations, no fires in the morning made it easier to breath!
