Beautiful time to be in the valley. Can’t wait to get back. North Pines was a nice campground. Great location to go for a swim.

Surrounded by the mountains with the river within walking distance. Quiet & well maintained. Cell service is non existent. So if you’re hoping to snag an additional night from the app for cancellations, better do so before getting in the park.

Amenities were excellent, park rangers were extremely friendly but also firm when needed. Everyone around us followed the park rules and made the environment enjoyable. Location was super close to the best hikes Yosemite has to offer. Can't wait for my next visit!

Great campsite right on the river. Pretty narrow spots but plenty long. Bathrooms stayed clean the whole time but to get to showers was a decent walk. The site was filled with holes of squirrel homes but they didnt seem to be a bother as I was very good about always having food in the bins.

Yosemite is Iconic, and north pines is very close to all the top places to see. Bathroom was old and beat up but relatively clean. Potable water and dump station if needed was clean and close. Rangers are very nice. Some of the staff at the local restaurants/stores were pretty rude. We enjoyed Mist Trail, watching the climbers on El Captain, driving up to Sentinal Dome and floating the river. We tried to do everything early to avoid the crowds.
BEST SPOTS AT THE CAMP SITE SEEM TO BE THE ONES ALONG THE RIVER.

We stayed in a 24 ft rv in site 320. We were so thankful to get a site at all, especially for 2 consecutive nights! It was a busy campground (understandably), so not a ton of privacy. We had amazing views of the granite walls, and could watch climbers with binoculars and watched the sunset over Half Dome. The shuttle stop and Curry Village weren't too far away. We know there have been budget cuts, so there weren't as many ranger programs and the shuttles were pretty full, so not to the fault of the park.

The waterfalls were running and were lucky enough to get a site along the Merced River. In summer, important to hit the trails by sunrise and enjoy the cooler air.

The camp hosts were very courteous and helpful and the scenery is spectacular but as much as I like a camp fire they need to restrict campfires dramatically as the air pollution every night is worse than LA! Restrict fires to only 2 hours per night.....7 to 9 pm instead of 5 hours per night. If that doesn't do the trick then further restriction is necessary. That beautiful valley is not good at dispersing smoke and it poses a serious health risk to asthmatics or anyone with respiratory issues, and is an annoyance to the others.

Great location! Everyone was considerate of their noise level, and great spot to see the stars. We didn’t realize that there’s specific hours for the fire, so in the morning we had to put it out. The location is in between two bathrooms, but not too close that you hear people in and out at all hours.
