Camp hosts love the park and love their work. They are friendly, knowledgeable, and thoughtful, making sure campers don’t get bothered before the checkout time.
Everyone respected the quiet time and I had a wonderful time staying here.

Really nice campground. Check in was easy, staff was very nice and helpful. The only thing I wish that there was showers in the bathrooms. I feel like for Yosemite it should have showers in these campgrounds. But other then that, it’s beautiful and your surrounded by trees and all the boulders.

Campground is nicely run with close access to the mist trail. It's a shame that most of the camping area's are closed for at least 1/3 of the year (in general) and only 1/3 of Upper Pines is open due to staffing shortages.

When we got to the campsite, the people from the night before had left there stuff there and gone hiking. It was a huge inconvenience for us but the campsite manager did get us another site and the people who overstayed were fined. Campsites are close together and just crowded overall. They are close to all the attractions so that's a plus. Overall, I prefer Wawona campground. It's further out but way nicer, quiter, and spacious.
