We really enjoyed biking through the valley floor on our mountain bikes. We could stop and look at all the sites along the way. We drove and hiked to Taft Point and Glacier Point.

We visited during a govt shutdown and the only thing we noticed was less traffic. We were greeted at the entrance gate by knowledgeable volunteers the campground was lovely and restrooms were clean and serviced regularly. We visited for 4 days and were able to visit the Ahwahnee Hotel for cocktails, the gift shop, got groceries and pizza in Curry Village. Thanks to the volunteers and essential staff we had a lovely visit.

It was excellent...except for the campfire smoke. The smoke hangs in the valley and gets into everything, including your car ventilation. Yosemite national park needs to do something about the out of control campfire activity in their campgrounds. The air quality is a health risk.
