It was our first time at the Wawona Campground with an RV. We had site 37 right on the river, I think the most beautiful on the entire site. The river had a lot of water and the sound was fantastic. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We would have liked to stay longer but had already planned the road trip. Highly recommended.

Went to Glacier Point twice and then to the Valley. Nice campground, clean restrooms. Wild turkey visited in the early morning. Some wildflowers, iris, lupine, Ranger at kiosk helped with allowing separate party who was camping with me access campground without permit. Convenience store near Wawona Hotel. Gas too but $$$$. Better to fill up in Fresno or Coarsegold. This is my third time at this campground. No cell service. Showers at Hotel? They used to, not sure now. I use No Rinse or catch up with a friend at a motel.

Lovely setting by the lake, but because of this there were lots of mosquitos so come prepared! Drinking water was easily accessible and toilets were good.

Lovely site, but the parking was less than desirable (#44B). Loved hearing the rushing water. Weekends can be noisy late into the night.

This is on a beautiful campground but the site itself is tiny. There'd be no way to park 2 cars.

Campsite 98C. The site is a little slopey and definitely full sun in the afternoon. The bathroom is a treacherous walk down and up hill and the spigot is further than you'd want on a rainy afternoon. The area in general is very private and quiet. We really loved Wawona and would definitely go there again, just a different spot.

May in Yosemite is a beautiful experience.
Wawona CG is right along a fork of the Merced River which was flowing high.
Plenty of shade and space between many spots for the RV.
