Just recently stayed here for the 2nd time and excellent location. Grounds are kept nice and located close to the river. Restrooms are kept clean. Great time to stay during May.

My site was very un-level, but with three leveling blocks on one side we got our camper level.
Other than that, what a beautiful place to camp!

Campground was well organised and a beautifull spot along the river. The distance to the Village is far 45 min drive. It would be nice if the shuttlebusses went to the Campground. Parking the RV in Yosemite was a Challenge.

We stayed at loop A. The site were level and well maintained. We had great access to Chilnualna Falls and Mariposa Grove, which were highlights of our stay. We’re also able to travel down to the valley and spend the day hiking and sightseeing and return to our less hectic campground.

At the risk of exposing a secret, we absolutely love the Wawona campground. True, it’s not in the Valley and if that’s the experience you want then try to make a reservation there. However, if you want a more mellow experience go to Wawona. It’s right on the river, the sites are fairly large, and the bathrooms are very clean. Good hiking is nearby (check out the Mariposa Grove and Chilnuana Falls trails. The Wawona hotel is a nice place to enjoy a cocktail. We’ve camped and the Valley and won’t do it again.

Great spot! Close to restrooms, but not too close. Leveled spot to put your tent. Would recommend!

This place only needs showers besides that is amazing to camp with tents. The Guard parks super friendly, a little overwhelmed with the Bear warnings....=)
