What Guests Are Saying
White Wolf Campground is praised for its beautiful location, spacious sites, and proximity to great hiking trails, including those leading to Cloud's Rest and Aspen Valley. While there were complaints about the lack of running water and restrooms, the portable toilets were well-maintained and clean. Many campers appreciated the quiet atmosphere and friendly fellow visitors, making it a favorite choice for future stays.

The campground itself is nice. The restrooms have running water in the sinks & toilets.
The websites photos of each site are not the best to determine if one’s camping equipment will fit, e.g., most sites accommodate small to medium tents, not large. Most of the sites were small.
Also, it is difficult to determine how level the sites might be.
There were some sites that are not at all level for either a tent or RV and probably should be pulled from the inventory.
No issues with bears or other animals going through the campgrounds. The Park Service does check on the campgrounds daily.
We would camp there again.

My families favorite campsite! We love coming here every year. Only issue I had this yeas was with the reservations. There were a lot of empty campsites that we wish we could have stayed at but it seemed that people were coming and going as if it were first come first serve so it was a bit confusing as when I made my reservation there were very few campsites. During my stay, there were many campsites available that no one was occupying. In my opinion, thats the only thing they need to work on to ensure fairness when people are making reservations for the campsites. All in all, had an amazing time. Yosemite was beautiful as always.

Great spot. Wish it had a shower/better facilities. Didn’t realize it was at such elevation. Would go back.

Great campground! No complaints at all. Easy check in, large space with fire pit and picnic table. Restrooms not far from our spot. Would stay again!

White Wolf surprised us with it's charm; although the campsites are generally fairly close together and some don't have good privacy, it still has the feel of being away from the noise and crowds of Yosemite Valley. All campers quieted down by 10 pm; there wasn't' a lot of vehicle traffic going past even during the day, and the rock outcrops are great for kids to climb on. It is a small campground, the bathrooms are clean (no soap or lights at night typical of many campgrounds~so bring your own). Trailheads are nearby.
