Lots of space between campsites, campground was well maintained, restrooms nice and clean with no smell. Late May/Early June stay with only about 30% of campsites occupied. We caught a Brown Trout fish in the adjacent Elk Creek but alas only one. Campground hosts helpful and were out and about to check on things regularly. There is no water for RV fill-ups with a hose but there were plenty of drinking water fill-up spots. We got RV tank water in Antonito at City Hall. Dump at a local RV park. Later in summer the wildflowers are stupendous! Highly recommend!

Perfectly situated near a few beautiful hiking trails and fishing opportunities at Elk Creek and the Conejos River. Loved our stay her. Our spot was perfect, on the river. Although the private property fence line and signs detracted from some gorgeous photo opportunities.
