We had the place to ourselves on a Friday night so that was awesome. The access road and dense forest make it feel super remote. Some of the campsites are really close to each other so make sure you review the map closely or plan to make new friends! We'll definitely be back!

Davenport Campground is the most wonderful campground that I have stayed at in the 35 plus years that I have been camping. It is well maintained and it is picture perfect for anyone that wants quiet from road noise. The fishing at Lake Isabel is great, and Bishops Castle is nearby.

It was very nice except the motorcycle and 4 wheelers they run through the water and Ruin the trail And almost hit us twice Motorized vehicles on this trail need to end. They're very dangerous To hikers.
