Beautiful and secluded. Trails right by our camp. Will be returning.

Beautiful area, super quaint and idyllic campground. Very quiet and clean. Great access to area activities. Will definitely be back many times.
Only downside, you absolutely must keep food in bear lockers at night - the mice are relentless and will probably chew at anything left out, hoping to find any food. And the wasps this time of year in the evenings are pretty hard to cope with. For that reason, it was difficult to cook after 2:00 in the afternoon. But it's camping, so you know, part of the experience.

Our favorite campground. So peaceful. We are often the only campers when we go on weekdays. We love the creek and layout of the campground! Easy access to great hiking too. And a quick drive to San Isabel Lake for paddle boarding.

Beautiful, well-kept site near a stream with wildflowers around; not too far from Bishop's Castle and Lake Isabel (good fishing!). Having sites 1, 2 & 3 for three related families worked well. Sites 2 & 3 are especially close together. We were sure glad for the shelter at site 2 when it rained. Be sure to study the online map or print it and take it with you. We arrived in the dark and saw no directional signs/map to campsites or water from the the parking lot. (Water is between campsites 6 & 7.) We would be happy to camp here again.
