I'm sure we would have loved this campground if we could've gotten there. Unfortunately there was a snow storm in the first week of September that kept us from making up the mountain.

The sites in the SouthSide campground are really close together. Even though the description said no slide-outs, our neighbor had a large slide out that took up quite a bit of our space next to our fire pit and picnic table. Other than that Lake Isabel is a really nice spot for hiking and fishing.

The campsites are pull through with very little room to maneuver a small travel trailer. I broke off a support bracket trying to turn into the campsite. Larger trailers more than 25 ft cannot turn in or out of sites with out going back and forth several times. I would not recommend to anyone I know to stay at this camp ground.
