Such a beautiful campground with shade trees, big boulders and the lovely St. Charles river right there. So close to Lake San Isabel for fishing and boating.

Camping used to be about pitching a tent, campfire, hiking, fishing - sometimes, exploring nature. Now everyone travels with noisy generators that are allowed to run til 10pm and have loud parties all hours of the night. I will not return to San Isabel for this very reason. We were unfortunate enough to camp at the site next to 2 noisy generators. Our camp host was one of them.
The previous campers left quite a mess at our tent site and the host either missed it or didn’t seem to care.
The toilet stalls were clean as could be made possible - still stinks horribly.
The trash dumpsters were always full - we were forced to pack all our trash and dispose of at home and were happy to do so.
The traffic is immense - something I did not expect.
Not worth my fees.
