I feel like have been scammed. I was charged for a second car by the campground host. When I put a 2nd car in at Recreaction.gov I was NOT charged. Please fix this!!!

We camped in F49, which was pretty tight for a 25' Trailer with slide outs and our truck, but the spot was very shaded and very private, the river was about a 50 yard walk. We had to block up pretty high to get level, but we would definitely visit again. Dennis and Patty were outstanding, the pit toilets were immaculate and the small but beautiful Chapman reservoir was wonderful! Zero cell phone service, but our Starlink worked great to stay connected! Downside, 30 mile drive up Frying Pan Road to get there outside of Basalt, CO and lots of mosquitoes, bring bug spray or a screened tent.

Our location was great lots of trees just not much shade where the picnic table and tent is set up. There still still no running water but the camp host helped us get what we needed quickly. The bathrooms are super clean too! The best part of our site was it was a 3 minute walk to the reservoir and only neighbors on one side.

Love this campground! The hosts are exceptional.
I only wish people would not be able to book campsites and then not show up. Please change it so if you haven't come by the morning of the 2nd day you forfeit the reservation.
Thanks
Christie
