What Guests Are Saying
Jeff, the camp host, was very helpful with a booking issue. The tent camping loop offered beautiful views of the water and mountains, despite being on a gravel patch with limited privacy. While the sites are close together, the scenic surroundings make it a worthwhile experience.

We messed up our booking date and Jeff the camp host was super helpful and nice.
We ended up staying at the tent camping loop closer to the lake, past Little Maud. Not sure how to reserve those spots online.
It was a beautiful view of the water and mountain

Great view. But sites are very close together. Which is fine unless you have the 5 year old who has no supervision from his parent's. I understand the closeness but keep your child out of my space.

They told us water was available when I called the marina but it is NOT. There is only drinking water, no water for an RV so we ended up at the campground with no water. 14 miles back to Basalt. Beautiful campground but I wouldnt camp at the marina unless you like rock bases with no trees. Mollie or Maud are much nicer with some grass around. Lake was great and had some great success fishing in the river and the lake.

It's odd that there aren't showers with 3 campgrounds around. Also, the dump station is at a slant the opposite way of the camper tanks. It was ridiculous to pay $10 to only get to dump out half of the waste. Ended up having to go to a state park to dump once we got back home. I've never had to pay to dump at a campground where I camped at before. Not a fan at all.

Our camp host Stephaine and Fernando are exceptional. The Ruedi marina has never been better. Thanks to them we all had the best summer experience.

The vista at Ruedi and access to water play are both spectacular. The only improvements we would love to see are: 1)The well needs to be fixed so that the toilets can be working-I guess it has been broken for awhile 2) That the dog leash rule be enforced--lots of people let their dogs run loose and we had several strange dogs just wander into our campground. We didn't mind that people had dogs off leash near water so that they could swim; I am talking about up in the campground. It was not relaxing when a strange dog just wandered into our space. 3) The dump station is on a leaning drive and a not ideal set up.
