The pros far outweigh the cons of this campground. If you are out to unplug, this is the place. There is currently no internet. If they get access out there it would be a plus for many reasons. A plus is the restrooms offer flush toilets. We didn’t try the solar shower so we can’t comment on that. The campground staff was friendly and kept the area clean. Hope to return.

We camped just one night in May, 2024, on our way to Utah. This is a very quiet campground. Dirt road through the campground, and dirt sites. We were too early in the season to hook up to water, but electricity was available. Level sites. Had to walk quite a ways to the bathroom, as the closest one (with showers) was closed for maintenance. A quiet 45 minute walk to the heart of the small town of Redstone, on a quiet road that paralleled highway 113. The coke ovens, just opposite Redstone are well worth visiting! This is a very popular campground, but off season, spring or late fall, it is a quiet place to stay in a beautiful canyon.
