The reservation site did not state this was a SHARED space and in the time of COVID, even when camping, no one wants to be too close to another group of people. I was disappointed in the site and on-edge the whole time waiting for the other group to check in. Couldn't enjoy the space.

The site map needs to be clearer about shared spaces. We booked what we thought was a single camper site only to be disappointed when we arrived and found out it was a shared site. Our site mates were very nice so we have no complaint there, just wished the map and the description was clearer so we would be prepared or could have opted out or chose another site.

Tent camping here was excellent and the views from our site were beautiful.. The campground is fairly remote but close to many activities. It is well managed and the other campers very quiet. We stayed in an electric/water site which is unusual for a federal campground. The bathrooms were cleaned several times a day. Unfortunately the showers were closed, this was disappointing to us, but having water at the Site made up for it. We took day trips to Glenwood Hot Springs, Glenwood Canyon Bike path, Rio Grande rail trail into Aspen, Prince Creek MTB trail system in Carbondale, and a Jeep trip to Crystal Mill in Marble. We will try to return here if possible!

The canyon is beautiful and our evenings around the fire were great. Site #9 was excellent. Site #18 was terrible. Site #19 was poor.
To our surprise sites #18 and #19 are on a double site.
