Beautiful area. We were there in late July, though, and it was full of mosquitoes! This was a significant problem because we were there with a toddler and a baby and the mosquitoes forced us to leave the area with our kids. I'd return in the fall after the bugs, but it was too buggy for small children.

From Cedaredge, travel north on Highway 65 approximately 15 miles. Just past the Grand Mesa Visitor Center, watch for the campground sign and turnoff road to the right.

General
- Standard Single Family sites: Recreation Use Fee allows ONE camping unit ONLY.
- campers are not considered a "no-show" until 24 hours after arrival date check in time. Our policy is that your site will not be released before that.
- FIRST COME FIRST SERVE sites must be booked in person. DO NOT call to determine availability, as they are only available on-site.
- Extra Vehicles: Cannot be paid for in advance - upon arrival coordinate with the host for payment and where to park.
- Mosquitoes are abundant in the area; bring repellent
- Don't Move Firewood: Prevent the spread of tree-killing organisms by obtaining firewood at or near your destination and burning it on-site. For more information visit dontmovefirewood.org.
