Love the location. Easy in and close to desirable locations. If you don’t need water its very desirable. Bathrooms are clean.

Nice treed campground and campground hosts were were nice and very helpful. Apparently camp sites that can be reserved must be booked at least 4 days in advance or they disappear from the online reservation system. This policy results in sites that end up sitting empty which is not ideal for folks that need a spot. Fire pits and sites were good. Roads are tight and some spaces are close together so expect to hear your neighbors. No RV water fill or dump station are available at the campground so need to plan accordingly. Campground down the street wanted $20 to dump which is ridiculous.

We really like this campground. It was clean and the sites are well spaced. There's a nice walk to Manitou Lake.
The camp hosts were delightful - friendly and funny!

What a gem. Such a beautiful campground. Well maintained, the most spotless campground toilets I think I’ve ever seen. I. The evening It was quiet and relaxing and the hosts were fantastic and extremely helpful. It’s obvious they love what they do. I’m already planning on coming back.

Really nice 'treed' campground with a fishing lake within walking distance . The campground is a little 'tight' so not a good place for big rigs. the campground hosts were really nice the weekend we were there.

Stayed here June 10 - 13 2021. Fantastic national forest campground with lots of shade from tall pines. Good space between sites. Awesome camp hosts. Very clean vault toilets. Sites very well maintained. Walk to the small, nearby Manitou Lake directly from the campground is beautiful and the lake itself is super cool. Absolutely a must do for camping with kids and for paddle boarding, canoeing, trout fishing. Mobile service is spotty, but c’mon you’re camping!
For such a generic campground name it’s a lot what you’d hope to experience when camping in Colorado.
No hot showers. No flush toilets. No RV hookups. But, this place is legit without all those amenities.
Yes, you should camp here. Yes, we’re going back!

The folks at the site were very helpful and we enjoyed it very much.
We did have a bad experience withe the reservations being messed up by the head of the California people cancelling and screwing up reservations, what a night mare and a blunder that cost you big time (more than Half the sites were unoccupied due to this. I hope this is not the way you are going to conduct business in the future, if you do you will co bankrupt in a year. Sorry, very poor management from the top.

Nice campground, some sites are too open and could use some more shade.
