Nice Campground with potable water and clean pit toilets. It was fairly empty during the weekdays that we were there, which was nice, but host said it fills up on weekends. There were a couple of rock formations in the campground which were fun to explore with our family, but wish there were more around the area that we could do. There were quite a lot of thistles that seem to have taken over the area. We were there 2 days and enjoyed it, but would not want to stay much longer. Overall, it was a great stay for 2 nights of our family's camping trip.

Beautiful and well maintained campground in the solitude of the forest but also conveniently close to Woodland Park to get a dose of civilization whenever you need it. Each of the campsites has a large flat prepared pad for pitching your tent. The fire pits are top notch with a large adjustable height grate for grilling. The vault toilets were kept very clean. Each campsite was fairly large to provide a degree of privacy. Any noise from nearby campers came across faint and nearly indistinguishable.
The only two negatives that I can recall is that there were some aggressive flying beetles who liked to appear and pester you as daylight dimmed and your campfire glowed. The second slight negative was that the campground was out of firewood for sale when I arrived. This was easily remedied by a trip into Woodland Park the next day.
