We were in #56. The spot is not level. You will need extra height on the one side. We had to dig the wheels down just to get our camper leveled. The electrical box is on the opposite end of the camper. You will need at least 50 feet of electrical cord to reach the electrical box. The camp host was great and loaned us the extra length that we needed. Very nice camp hosts and very helpful. It is a nice walk down to the lake.

Nice clean toilets, campsites very well spaced - shade if you want it. Fire pits well attended to - no big left over logs that will never burn. Hosts very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. I would highly recommend this campground and will probably camp here again! Thanks!!!!!!!!!!

Tons of shade, great space between sites, and clean amenities. Manitou Park Lake is a must-see with beautiful views of Pikes Peak. Love the Saturday night summer educational series for kids!

We have a longbed truck and a 31' 5th wheel. There are only 3 places there that can handle this length, all straight. Most of the sites are half circles bordered by trees. We were able to get into one of them, but an overhead branch bent the awning bracket and the ground was so uneven that we torqued the hitch and had a devil of a time getting hitched back up. We had to be very clever with ramps on both trailer and truck wheels. The host helped us in getting our previous site refunded, and a better site that was straight and more level. It's a beautiful campground, perfect for small units and tents! There aren't hookups at this campground; only 2 sites have electrical. So reserve early if you need one of those. Once we finally got settled, it was lovely. There's a lake next to it that's about a 3 mile easy walk to, around, and back. Lots of fish there. This is within a 10 minute drive to Woodland Park but feels more secluded than that. Enjoy!

Wonderful campground close to town but you still feel far away! The camp host was friendly at check in and we loved being able to enjoy live music from our campsite. Clean bathrooms and easily accessible water and trash throughout the campground. The short walk to Manitou lake was wonderful as well. Overall a great weekend, would definitely come back .

The Colorado Campground is beautiful and very well maintained. The vault toilets are probably the cleanest I’ve found in a campground. The camp hosts (Chris and Cathy) are very welcoming, helpful and friendly. I love the time I am able to spend there.

This is a beautiful campground with lots of shade. The sites are big, so you don't feel that you are right next to your neighbor. Manitou Lake is small, but within walking distance of the campground. The hosts were extremely nice and helpful. We brought a generator that would not even operate the A/C and, when we mentioned it to Chris and Kathy, they said we could borrow theirs for the night. The toilets were kept clean as well. My 5 year old grandson enjoyed the story telling and sing along at the amphitheater. The only improvement would be making more sites electrical. We will definitely be going back.

good location for many activities. We went to the Woodland Park Farmer's Market and the brewery. We also took our kayaks to Eleven Mile Reservoir. The campround has a path to Manitou Lake. Lots of hiking trails nearby.
