Colorado Campground offers a beautiful and well-maintained setting with spacious, shaded sites and clean bathrooms. The friendly hosts, Chris and Kathy, receive high praise for their helpfulness and attentiveness, enhancing the camping experience. While some sites may be uneven or lack electrical hookups, the campground’s proximity to Manitou Lake and various hiking trails makes it a great choice for outdoor enthusiasts.

Colorado Campground was well maintained with clean bathrooms. Even with a full campground we had plenty of space for ourselves. The camp hosts were extremely helpful and friendly. They made regular checks of the grounds and were available as needed. Great place. We will return.

We had a great week with the grandkids. Loved the proximity to the lake, ability for kids to ride their bikes, and the shady campsites. Bathrooms were kept clean, although we were just a little too close when the breeze blew in our direction. Appreciated the friendly camp hosts who were available, but not overly present. We will camp there again, no doubt.

The camp hosts were phenomenal. The campground was very clean and quiet. Lots of trees provide nice shade. We love camping here.

Camp hosts Chris and Kathy were extremely kind, attentive and knowledgeable! Restrooms cleaned frequently and the sites were great. Fishing was an awesome time and just under a mile hike from camp. All in all, we really enjoyed our time there!

It was okay. One site across from us had too many people like 15/20 people. Too many lights at night time while we tried to sleep. The host was nice and bathroom was clean.

The camp site is kept up very nicely, bathrooms always clean and honestly they rarely smelled bad. The hosts were absolutely amazing and so sweet! We would definitely camp at Colorado Campground again

Fun place. Bummer you can’t play in the water at the lake and we heard massive gun fire for 3 hours in the middle of the night.
Toilets were very clean, host was delightful.

Absolutely beautiful, relaxing campground. The sites and wooded and spacious. Close distance to many hiking trails. There are only vault toilets, but they are kept very clean. We have a 30 ft. camper and didn't have any issues driving through the campground. Highly recommend!

The Colorado Campground is very well maintained. The camp hosts are very friendly and helpful. They are active, and seen around the campground often. The vault toilets are very clean. It is in a beautiful area and one of my favorite campgrounds. The cell service is very spotty. Often, there is no service at all for Verizon.

We camped at site 22 at the Colorado Campground! It’s within a short walk to the lake, and you can hear the Pelicans (yes, in Colorado!) at night. We brought our two kids and dog and it was a great experience. This site was great distance from the outhouse (didn’t get much of a smell from it, but it was a short walk away), and probably most importantly it backed to the (private property) forest. Room for about 2-3 tents, some good tall po de Rosa trees to put up a hammock. The hosts were great, kind, polite, and kept the bathrooms nice and clean. I felt like they kept the campground well “patrolled” as well. Hardly any cell service but you could pick it up when you needed it. We’ll be back!
