Great camp hosts. Helpful and kind. Sites are not that level. Nice to have access to the lake at no additional cost. Popular with fishing and paddle boarders.

What a wonderful experience!
A friend and I snuck away for a camping adventure Sunday- Tuesday. Reservation through the recreation.gov app made the process so easy.
We stayed in site 45. Camp hostess was unavailable on arrival, but campground was easy to navigate and marked well. Shortly after setting up - camp hostess arrived and provided us safety information and parking pass for day visit to Lake Manitou ( Accessible via trail).
Wonderful campground and very well maintained facilities. Campground hosts do a fantastic job and are so kind- firewood available and they are able to deliver direct to site. Many trees and shade available on sites and across campground. Water and vault restrooms accessible. We reserved a standard non-electric tent site.
There are many beautiful local trails in the area a short distance away- to explore. We will definitely be back.

We enjoyed this campground over Memorial Day. We stayed at site 46. It was a back in site. The parking area for the camper is slightly down hill, so un-hooking was a bit harder but still manageable. Sites are spaced well apart. We walked over to Manitou Lake everyday and fished, kayaked, or hiked.

Great camp hosts. Nice area. But some of the sites are too small to back into. we had 4 campers in our party. 3 of us could not back in as the sites were perpendicular to the road. We had to change to FF and fortunately there were some sites open.

When we got there the camp host greeted us right away. Gave us info on the camp, told us where to go. We got to the site and had some trouble at first so the were very helpful and accommodating. The campsite was clean, bathrooms clean! A wonderful experience!!!!
