What Guests Are Saying
Thirty Mile Campground is highly praised for its beautiful mountain views, spacious and clean campsites, and friendly hosts who maintain spotless facilities. Visitors appreciate the campground's privacy, proximity to fishing spots, and access to hiking trails. The main concern noted was the rough 10-mile dirt road and occasional noise from generators, but overall, guests express a strong desire to return.

Location of campground is excellent for fishing, hiking and ATV riding. The camp host, Alan, did an outstanding job making us feel welcomed. He also kept the restrooms cleaner than they have ever been. Keep Alan on hand!

The campground is PERFECT! The host was wonderful! The other guests were great!
The road going into the campground was atrocious! We were in a 35 foot motorhome and within 30 feet of the road, the TV fell into my husbands lap. It took almost an hour of driving at 9 to 10 mph to get to this wonderful campground, which was 19 or 18 miles in…
Once there, it was beautiful! The camp host, Allen could not have more helpful! Mitch, the hiking guru was there for any and all questions.
The biggest recommendation I have, would be for Motorhomes… ours is a 2003 Bounder 35R, she was great after I realized how bad the road was…the TV, ended up in my husbands lap! Look down that hill, like I did…wonder if you are out of your mind for going down…and then proceed slowly down the road. When you reach the dirt road…proceed slowly!! Like 10mph! The campground is worth it but you have 19 or so miles to go…try to follow the tire tracks…it helps.
This Campground deserves all the kudos. Not crowded…the sites are well spaced…impeccably clean… and the host, Allen and Mitch can’t do enough for you. I have never seen or smelled…sorry…better vault toilets…!!
We would/maybe will go again but the road needs to be graded!,

Very nice peaceful campground. We had no cell service at our site but when we drove through there were a few spots that did. There are only 3 spots on the little area off to the side where we were and we were lucky the night we were there and there was no one camped on either side of us. We could here the creek and the Rio Grande which made for great sleeping.
