Camp was well maintained and in great condition. The current site manager, Melvin, does an excellent job of keeping all aspects of the property in good order. He constantly tours the property and does work as needed.

This campground is very convenient to the highway but far enough away so you don’t have traffic noise. The views are amazing from any site but really spectacular from the ones on the river. The host was so nice and really helped us to feel welcome. The restrooms were always clean and so nice to have. We loved staying here so much we extended our stay as long as our water held. Highly recommend this campground.

This was a lovely location for a home site for the Creede Headwaters Music Festival. I got the last reserved spot (1), and would have loved a few others that were first-come-first serve spots. They were empty when we got there, but the camp host said that we could not move to one of them--other comments had suggested that you could, so not sure about that. Very nice and clean, had been kept up well, and our neighbors all seemed to be having a good time as well. Not hard to get to, easy to park/pull in, fine bathrooms. Do be aware there is no access to water, so bring your own--

Marshall Park has beautiful Mountain views, along the Rio Grande. It’s not a far drive to Creede. Melvin, the camp host, was very friendly & kept the park in excellent condition. The bathrooms were clean, we even noticed he moped the floors.

This did not work for us: the entire area is quite barren; camp site fully exposed to intense Aug heat until sun set, windy w no trees to block. Unable to play in adjacent river - poor access; heat coats shoreline in an alge slime and too deep past that to enjoy wading - bummer.
Same exposure hiking local trails with so few trees; dog overheated, coated in too much powder-like dirt. Did not find main street dog friendly. Will not be back.

The campground tables are unusable, bring your own table. There is a dirt road across the river, everything was covered in dirt. Other than that, it was a good location and great for watching stars.

General
- PMC & Recreation.gov policy states we will keep your reserved site until . If you haven't occupied it at any time during this period, your reservation is null and void and will be given to first come first serve campers. Your reservation will be a no show and no refund will be given.
- All single campsite reservation fees are good for 6 people and 1 vehicle. The maximum number of people per site is 8 ($10.00 additional charge after 6 people). The maximum number of vehicles per site is 2 ($10.00 additional charge for 2nd vehicle). Any extra people/vehicle fees will be charged at the campground ($10/night per person/vehicle).
- Bears frequent the area; keep all food out of sight in approved containers or locked inside your vehicle and remove all food from the area after eating
- No drinking water available; please bring your own supply
- The camp host at this location cannot modify your reservation. Before your , you may cancel or modify your reservation online. After your , you have a 7 day period to request a refund online.
- No electric hookups at this facility
- This is a high elevation facility, please use caution when traveling from lower elevations
- This campground has first-come, first-serve sites available but not guaranteed
- The 14 day stay limit is strictly enforced. Camping for a period longer than during any 30-consecutive day period is prohibited. If you have booked back-to-back reservations, you will be asked to cancel all days after the first 14.
