What Guests Are Saying
Marshall Park is a pleasant campground situated along the Rio Grande, noted for its cleanliness and helpful camp host, Melvin Bell. Many visitors appreciated the spacious sites, beautiful river access, and well-maintained restrooms. However, some concerns were raised about a diesel spill affecting site #6, the lack of potable water, and areas needing maintenance, which detracted from the overall experience.

Nice, small campground right on the Rio Grande. Due to shrubs, some sights could be tight for campers with slides. We were in a 24 ft TT. pulled in with side to the river to avoid the shrubs. Pit toilets were exceptionally clean, with no foul smell. Loved the sound of the river day and night. Camp host, Lou, was delightful. Would definitely come here again.

Camp host Lou was absolutely amazing. Probably the best camp host we have had. Thank you so much for making sure the kids and us had a great time Lou!

Nice and quiet campground even though it is next to the highway. We had a great time and enjoyed our stay!

I hesitate to gush too much about this campground because I’d hate to see it become over popular. Without water I’m hoping it will deter a lot of campers from choosing it 😉

Under used campground. Road noise was a little disturbing but we got use to it. Having water on site would be a big plus.

This campground is great. Just 6 miles from Creede, CO and there is plenty of things to do, fishing, hiking, etc. This campground is accessible to so many different places to explorer in the Rio Grand and the Gunnison National Forest.

Sound of the Rio Grande, plenty of space between campsites and an evening shower everyday; what’s not to like.

Marshall Park was wonderful! It does not have full hookups, which would have been nice, but the river was wonderful, the weather was beautiful, but the best thing about the place was the camp host, Lou. She was so welcoming and so sweet. Everything was clean and inviting. We will definitely be back
