What Guests Are Saying
Marshall Park is a pleasant campground situated along the Rio Grande, noted for its cleanliness and helpful camp host, Melvin Bell. Many visitors appreciated the spacious sites, beautiful river access, and well-maintained restrooms. However, some concerns were raised about a diesel spill affecting site #6, the lack of potable water, and areas needing maintenance, which detracted from the overall experience.

Very nice campground. Quiet, with a good amount of space between sites. And bathroom was very clean!

Poor local management. They didn’t bother to unlock the campground so us and all the other guests were left stranded and had to find a new site at short notice. We did not get to stay here due to management slacking.

Absolutely beautiful location. One note that there isn't a lot of shade at most of the sites. We ended up taking our camp chairs down to the riverbed to get some shade and that worked out great. Camp host was very accommodating. Unfortunately, there was no water available so bring your own.

Just what you want in a low key NF campground amid spectacular surroundings. Camp host Lou is a gem.

Near Creed and a day trip from Lake City and the headwaters of the Rio Grande. Beautiful setting on the banks of the Rio Grande. Campsite is small and no water is available but otherwise is great. Hostess Lou has managed the site for years and does an excellent job. Vault toilets are impeccably clean and fresh. Site is open but decently spaced.

Clean, quiet and peaceful. Our campsite was close to the river and was about half full for most of our stay so. Will definitely be going back. Great day rides and just a few miles from Creede.

Just as described and expected. Even during the middle of July the temperature was bearable for no hookups. The water and dump site in Granby was as described and easy to use. Our camp host was very helpful. The views are spectacular and our site (10) was perfect and relaxing. Generators were allowed from 10am to 8pm, but didn’t even need them. Be careful about following RVLife GOS directions, they had us head down an adjacent (likely older route). You will thoroughly enjoy this campground if you’re interested in quiet Colorado on the Rio Grande River. Enjoy!
