What Guests Are Saying
Marshall Park is a pleasant campground situated along the Rio Grande, noted for its cleanliness and helpful camp host, Melvin Bell. Many visitors appreciated the spacious sites, beautiful river access, and well-maintained restrooms. However, some concerns were raised about a diesel spill affecting site #6, the lack of potable water, and areas needing maintenance, which detracted from the overall experience.

We drove up to our site and found a large tree down in the site which had obviously been there a long time as weeds were grown up around it. The picnic table was broken and unusable. The interior roads in the campground were rutted and had numerous pot holes. The host site looked like a homeless camp. The place was too awful and scary for us, we left. We've stayed in some rough places, but this was too much. This campground should either undergo extensive repairs or be closed.

Great sites along the river. The bathrooms were nice and clean with plenty of toilet paper and hand sanitizer. Really close to Creede, so it was easy to get into town.

Great to be right next to the Rio Grande in site #6. They even had a place to put your sink water in.

Great little campground sitting on the Rio Grande. Minimal facilities, minimal shade. Although right next to highway 160 road noise is non existent. There’s more noise from the gravel roads across the river than from the highway.
Sites 4 & 5 are tight, if bringing in a trailer you may want to back it in from the loop.
Planning on going back again!

Would be nice if they had a campground host. Need to clear fallen tree from riverside campsite. Very clean and well located campground.

The campground is unkept. There is no water, no camp host. You could not use the picnic table it was so old and warped. Our reserved site #10 had a fallen tree in the middle of it with a large pile of all the branches. We moved to a FCFS site instead. We will not be back.

It’s a small campground , but so pretty. The grandkids enjoyed playing in the river. Pit toilets were clean. And the hosts were very friendly.
