What Guests Are Saying

Marshall Park is a pleasant campground situated along the Rio Grande, noted for its cleanliness and helpful camp host, Melvin Bell. Many visitors appreciated the spacious sites, beautiful river access, and well-maintained restrooms. However, some concerns were raised about a diesel spill affecting site #6, the lack of potable water, and areas needing maintenance, which detracted from the overall experience.

Great little park on the banks of the Rio Grande river. Nice waterfront site. Not for really big rigs. The vaults toilets are kept immaculately clean by the camp manager. Fishing is great. If there can be potable water, this will be fantastic. There is a dump station a few miles away in Creede.

Campground Host, Lou, was very helpful. The pit toilets are kept very clean and well supplied. No water is available, and could be a limiting factor for many campers, but we were able to manage fine.

Lou the camp host is outstanding. She is very much on top of things and is very pleasant. The campgrounds however are in dire need of some care. The bushes and trees are completely taking over the roads and desperately need to be trimmed back.

We had a reservation for site 1, but moved to 11 (a first come site) because it is closer to the Rio Grande. The host was very cooperative and did not mind. Hardly any bugs.
