The new camp hosts here (Alex and Dahlia) are fantastic. Polite, friendly, helpful, and the facilities are spotless. So glad to have them at our favorite camping spot.

My wife and I were camping at Big Meadows campground end of July 2020 our first tip there. Along with us were my son, his wife. and 3 grand kids. We were very pleased with our double spot as we could be camped right next to each other and not have to walk from camp spot to camp spot. The was a lot of space between spots so you felt like you were all alone. The campsite was very clean and kept up. Even though we both had self contained RV's our teen aged grand kids did walk over to the rest rooms a few times. They came back saying that the campground restrooms were the "cleanest in all of our years of camping". Later we meet the camp hosts Alex and Dahlia and told them how impressed the kids were. They had only been at this campground for a few weeks and they offered maps of the area and other information of the area (we had been to a few other campgrounds where the hosts didn't know anything about the area around their campground). We will be returning to Big Meadow in the future and hope that Alex and Dahlia will still be there.

We had a wonderful time while staying and camping at Big Meadows. Alex and Dahlia are wonderful camp host, who made are stay great. There handling, cleaning and comfort for campers was excellent.

We saw a number of people fishing, kayaking, and boating on the reservoir. The roads are very walkable, and a number of folks were walking around the grounds. The sites are large and offer some privacy with the trees and such. Potable water is available. We have been then before this trip, and will be going back again and again!

Every site we have reserved has been nice. The staff are friendly . They keep the grounds and bathrooms neat and clean. There isn't any hookups but water is available. Each site is spacious not like RV campgrounds where you are parked near each other. There are designated sites for RVs or tents. The lake is beautiful for fishing or boating. Most sites are surrounded by trees. There are trails you can walk. Grocery stores , restaurants, gas stations and dump stations near by.
