Nice campground, but the constant use of generators really degrades the camping experience. Management should really limit the use of these to a couple of hours a day during the same time window or ban altogether.

Excellent place to camp and fish with a trail around the lake. The camp host was superb and the restrooms were the cleanest restrooms of any national park campground I have been to. Thanks to the camp host and all who make it happen.

Nice campground next to lake, only detractor is the large number of beetle killed trees in the area. NFS has done a good job in clearing out the snags that pose a danger to the campground, but has left some parts of the campground pretty bare looking and not much shade. Vault toilets here are some of the cleanest and well kept I have ever encountered at NFS campground, no odor, with potpourri and magazines set out on side table is really going the extra mile!

We love this campground! The hosts are extremely helpful and friendly, especially Alex. The restrooms are the cleanest pit toilets I’ve ever seen. We enjoy kayaking on the reservoir, fishing, walking around the lake and Jeeping into some stunning areas near by. We plan to make many more trips to Big Meadows Reservoir. Thank you.

Great campground in a beautiful location. The lake was pristine. The only negative would be having to drive 13 miles back to town for a dump station and to top off the fresh water tank but that wouldn't keep me from staying here again.

Big Meadows is beautiful. My kids, grandkids and I met there for a long weekend. My grandkids had fun bait fishing from the bank (one catching his first fish) while others fished with lures and flies. There is a wonderful short walk/hike around the lake - highly recommended.

This was a fantastic place to camp! Spent a few nights with the family here and wish we'd have had more time.

Restrooms were the best of any campground we have stayed in. Scenery and lake were nice. The fishing was good. Easy to get to.
