I didn't understand why trash receptacles had a sign saying, "Do not put trash in here, take to dumpster." A long walk!

It was so beautiful and relaxing stayed extra days. Wonderful camp host and the cleanest, nicest restrooms I’ve ever been in. Caught close to 200 fish in 9 days. Wonderful experience. Highly recommend.

The campground has very good roads and private, spacious sites. The campground host did an excellent job of keeping the bathrooms clean. One of the nicer FS campgrounds that we've been too. Highly recommended if you can get a spot.

This was a wonderful experience, the lake was awesome, the camp hosts were very friendly and fun to talk with. We have a 36' diesel pusher and tow my Jetta, I wouldn't suggest the spots in the very upper loop, we made it, but it was a little touchy to get up there.
Short hike up to the falls but well worth the trip.

Big Meadows was absolutely beautiful! The hike around the lake was easy. Loved the fog hanging in the air each morning, made for excellent photography opportunities. Campground hosts were so nice and accommodating. Sites able to accommodate big rigs.
Opportunities while there are fishing, hiking, exploring the dirt roads and just relaxing enjoying the views of the lake.

Campsites are OK, wish they would trim all the long grass around the actual campsites as well as pick up trash and spray weeds. Only issue we had were those mentioned. It does appear the camp hosts take care of the restrooms, always clean, but the trash and weeds and long grass could use some work.
