What Guests Are Saying
Island Lake Campground offers a beautiful, well-maintained setting with clean restrooms and friendly camp hosts who provide excellent service. The campground features spacious and private sites, ideal for fishing and hiking, with stunning lake views. However, access is currently limited due to construction, with a challenging one-lane road that may pose difficulties for larger vehicles.

We camp at Island Lake several time each year. The hosts there are always good and very accommodating, this summer the new ones are terrific. The rest rooms are clean, the camp spots spotless. They are around and through the campground several time each day. They are doing a great job and I am sure they are not paid enough.

This campground is clean and beautiful. Our campsite was level and had a bit of shade. We were on the lake. The bathrooms were clean and are individual spaces (4) with a toilet , sink and shower in each.

We loved this campground! It's beautiful with abundant wild flowers and native plants. Much nicer than some of the closely trimmed camp sites we've been in previously. The sites are roomy and very well maintained. We love the configuration of the sites. The biffies are extremely clean. The hosts are pleasant and as helpful as they can be. The only negative statement I can write is that some of the biffies' tanks are way too full. The septic tank cleaning truck needs to visit. We hope to stay at this campground next year. Hopefully, we'll time the sun better.
